Matthew Weber
Matthew has called Colorado home for well over two decades, and has served as Grace’s pastor since 2020. Before coming to Grace, he served as a pastor at congregations in Colorado and Washington.
Matthew enjoys adventuring with his family, spending time doing almost anything that’s outdoors, and playing music. Though he has fond memories of growing up in central Texas, you’d be hard-pressed to get him to move away from Colorado.

Boyd is originally from Oklahoma and now calls Colorado home with his wife and two sons.
Choir Director
Michael Hoffman
Michael Hoffman, a native of Minnesota, has been with the Grace Music Department since 2018. He has a deep love for sacred music, specializing as a tenor soloist in the works of Bach, Handel, and other early music composers. He is a regular soloist with the Colorado Bach Ensemble and many of Colorado’s professional choruses. As a graduate of CU-Boulder, he is grateful to the strong relationship that Grace has with the University, and happy to regularly have student staff members in the choir. He currently resides in Denver with his wife Nadya and toddler Roselyn. He is an avid woodworker and outdoorsman and when not working to make beautiful music with the choir, he can be found spending time in the trees with his growing family.

Amy Stewart McIntosh
Amy enjoys spending time organizing ideas, people, and things, both inside and outside of Grace. When not at Grace, she dreams of Michigan and leads a Zimbabwean marimba community through the 501(c)3 Kutandara.
Soprano
Alice Del Simone
Alice Del Simone, a San Francisco Bay Area native, received her B.A. in Vocal Performance and B.S. in Plant Science from the University of California, Davis, and her M.M. in Voice Pedagogy and Performance at the University of Colorado Boulder where she is currently pursuing her D.M.A. Alice enjoys a varied performance career on both the operatic and concert stages and is particularly passionate about new works. She is also an avid music educator and voice science researcher. Alice enjoys approaching the challenges of music education with positive energy and optimism and celebrates the differences that make each voice unique. She is currently undertaking research that explores student-specific effective vocal instruction techniques. Alice is very excited to join the choir of Grace Lutheran this year and can't wait to meet you all!
Alto
Melody English
Melody spent her church childhood avoiding Sunday school so she could sing hymns in the adult service. As a teenager she spent a year in Newcastle-upon-Tyne (UK) where she sang with the Northern Opera Company. She has a degree in Music History from Seattle Pacific University where she studied voice, oboe, and recorder. As an adult, Melody has performed with the Boulder Bach Festival Chorus and the Boulder Renaissance Consort. Melody volunteers to prepare tax returns for AARP.
Tenor
Simon Daum
Simon has been making music in the Boulder/Denver metro area since he moved here in 2018. With a degree in Music Education from Shenandoah Conservatory, he has over ten years of experience teaching a variety of subjects to students of all ages. Select musical highlights include singing choral music across France, music directing a production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, performing in a production of Next to Normal, and witnessing students’ development and passion. He is on faculty at Parlando School of Musical Arts and is currently singing with Elus Vocal Ensemble and the Boulder Chorale, in addition to Grace.

Sebastian Schmidt
Sebastian is a native of Leipzig, Germany. Music has been part of his life since childhood. He studied the piano for twelve years and joined the children's choir of the Leipzig Opera at age eight. As an adult, he sang in Leipzig's Gewandhaus and University Choirs. He studied physics in Germany and Scotland, earned his PhD in meteorology in 2005, and has worked at CU's Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics since then. He also studied voice with teachers in Germany, Austria and Colorado. In Boulder, he sang with the Boulder Bach Chorale, CU Opera, and Grace, where he enjoys singing choral and solo repertoire.

Davian Raggio
Hailing from the Lone Star State, Davian has made the move to Boulder in pursuit of his Master of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Colorado- Boulder. Davian has been seen on-stage with several companies such as the Ohio Light Opera, Music On Site Incorporated, Operativo Houston, Opera Seme, Vox Seraphim, and the Baylor Opera Theatre. Davian shares a passion for church music and is grateful for the opportunity to serve as the choral intern this year!
